Zoey Benson joined Rittenhouse Political Partners as a project assistant in February 2023 and has been working as Project Manager since August of 2024.
Raised in Northwest Arkansas, Zoey grew up forming close connections with friends and family across the political spectrum, an experience that shaped her appreciation for diverse viewpoints and strengthened her belief in community-focused politics. She was inspired to pursue public service after arriving at the University of Pittsburgh during the 2016 Presidential Election—a moment that sparked her commitment to civic engagement and the electoral process. Zoey graduated with a degree in Political Science at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and spent the following years working in social services, where she saw firsthand how policy decisions affect individuals’ daily lives.
During her time in Pittsburgh, Zoey also gained extensive experience in government and campaigns, working in the offices of Senator Bob Casey, then–State Representative Austin Davis, and as a Campaign Fellow on Mayor Ed Gainey’s mayoral campaign.Through these roles, Zoey developed a deep commitment to strengthening local democracy and remains especially devoted to supporting candidates and initiatives that make an impact in their communities.
In her free time, Zoey loves to travel, go camping and hiking, visit with friends and family, and try as much new food as possible.
