Catherine McParland is Rittenhouse's newest Principal, bringing with her a decade of high-impact experience in political fundraising and campaign strategy.

 

Cat joined RPP in July 2024, following a dynamic career that built her reputation as one of the most respected and trusted fundraisers in Pennsylvania.

 

Cat launched her own successful fundraising consultancy in 2022, advising high-profile candidates and incumbents at every level of government.

 

Her portfolio includes serving on the finance teams of some of Pennsylvania’s most consequential campaigns - including now-Governor Josh Shapiro, former U.S. Senator Bob Casey, Judge Timika Lane, and Representative Malcolm Kenyatta’s U.S. Senate bid. She also played a pivotal role as Finance Director for the Pennsylvania Democratic Party during the historic 2020 election cycle, a year that reshaped the political landscape both in Pennsylvania and nationwide.

 

Over the years, Cat has raised millions of dollars for a diverse range of candidates - from seasoned incumbents to promising first-time contenders - building coalitions of support and executing finance strategies that have consistently delivered results. Her deep understanding of electoral dynamics across local, state, and federal levels makes her an invaluable asset to our team and our clients.

 

Cat is based in Philadelphia, where she lives with her husband, their young son, and their beloved tuxedo cat, Ellie.
